Literature:- Famous Indian scholars who have dwelled in the city were Kabir, Ravidas, and Tulsidas, who composed a lot of his Ram Charit Manas here. Kulluka Bhatt composed the most popular record of Manusmriti in Varanasi in the fifteenth century. Essayists of the city have included Acharya Shukla, Baldev Upadhyaya, Bharatendu Harishchandra, Devaki Nandan Khatri, Premchand, Hazari Prasad Dwivedi, Jaishankar Prasad, Kshetresa Chandra Chattopadhyaya, Sudama Pandey (Dhoomil), Vagish Shastri, and Vidya Niwas Mishra.
Art:- Varanasi is a significant focus of expressions and plans. It is a maker of silks and brocades with gold and silver string work, cover weaving, wooden toys, bangles made of glass, ivory work, scents, imaginative metal and copper product,s and an assortment of handiworks. The cantonment memorial park of the British Raj is currently the area of Varanasi Arts and Crafts.
Music:- Varanasi music convention is followed to the Pauranic days. As indicated by old legend, Shiva is credited with advancing music and dance structures.
